This ongoing project extends from a simple exercise in observation and drawing: that of looking through a viewfinder and tracing the contours of the landscape.   

In spite of its simplicity and clumsiness, this exercise engages with a procedure of looking that heightens awareness of the conditions involved in a visual experience of space.  The nuances obtained through this process, which sometimes reveal themselves in the drawings, other times are simply embedded in the mind's eye, are the residue of a way of looking that highlights the complexity of any visual experience of space.
